We help children to discover new passions, new talents and to understand that they have enormous potential.
We help them find their reason to learn.
Open Trail is a registered charity (1172191) established to encourage young people, of Worcestershire and the West Midlands, to strive for more than they think possible, despite their own personal circumstances. Its founder is Hannah Escott, GB Cycling Team Racer 2015-2018 and the 2016 Women’s World 4X Mountain Bike Series Champion.
Open Trail Activities
Our activities develop children and young peoples’ self-confidence, work ethic, emotional resilience and team working through the completion of small, achievable tasks. We enable them to achieve new things and find out what they are really capable of. We encourage them to apply these skills in different scenarios e.g. home, their community, and school to empower them to build a better future for themselves.
We also recognise that many children are not benefiting from their education through traditional methods. Thus we provide curriculum focused workshops, activity days and assemblies to inspire harder to reach pupils.
Our aims are to enable children and young people to develop:
– self-esteem, confidence and emotional resilience
– social and team working skills
– a positive attitude towards learning and working
– fit and healthy lifestyle choices.
What we do:
Sessions at Kinver Edge or on-site sessions at your establishment. We also do award days and Outdoor Education which is curriculum-based outdoor sessions at your establishment.

Open Trail is based in Kidderminster.
We are able to provide our activities on your site, the Wyre Forest, Kinver Edge or at local BMX tracks. We work primarily with schools and community groups in Worcestershire and the West Midlands but can travel further if required.
