Join local historian Geoff Shaw, at Burlish Bike Park, for an illustrated talk exploring Burlish Camp (also known as Camp Bewdley) at Burlish Top, Stourport-on-Severn. Explore its role as a WWII American Army training and hospital camp, what happened to the site after the war, and what traces you can still spot today.

Geoff Shaw is a local historian and speaker who regularly gives talks on Stourport-on-Severn’s history, including the town’s role in the Second World War and the story of Burlish Camp (also known as Camp Bewdley) and the American presence in the area.
