Payment

Payment in advance is required for all cycling tuition, if you are having problems making payment please contact hannah@opentrail.co.uk

Parents/carers

If the learner is Under 17 the parent/carer is expected to stay for the session. Parents/carers of learners with complex needs are expected to stay for the session no matter the age of the learner. We politely request that parents/carers watch the lesson but do not interfere with our instructors as they teach the child, unless invited to.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel with 72 hours or more notice before your booking we will issue you a full refund. If you cancel within 72 hours of your booking then no refund or replacement session can be given.

Weather policy

If poor weather is forecast then we will keep an eye on the weather forecast and endeavour to keep you informed of whether or not we expect to be able to go ahead. Things that might cause us to cancel include: – very heavy rain – snow – heavy frost – ice – very strong winds.

Personal belongings

You are responsible for the personal belongings of your group and we cannot accept responsibility for loss or theft.

Safety

We teach in a small number of select locations. We have undertaken written risk assessments on each location and will dynamically risk assess the location in terms of weather, surfaces, other activities, on each lesson to ensure that you/your child are safe. Our instructors have first aid qualifications and carry a first aid kit, although the risk of your child suffering a major injury as a result of cycling in the park is very low.
