About Us
We help children to discover new passions, new talents and to understand that they have enormous potential.
We help them find their reason to learn.
Open Trail is a registered charity (1190929) established to encourage young people, of Worcestershire and the West Midlands, to strive for more than they think possible, despite their own personal circumstances. Its founder is Hannah Escott, GB Cycling Team Racer 2015-2018 and the 2016 and 2019 Women’s World 4X Mountain Bike Series Champion.
Open Trail Activities
Our activities develop children and young peoples’:
- self-confidence
- work ethic
- emotional resilience
- team working skills
We enable them to achieve new things and find out what they are really capable of.
We recognise that many children are not benefiting from their education through traditional methods. Thus we provide curriculum focused workshops, activity days and assemblies to inspire harder to reach pupils.
Our aims are to enable children and young people to develop:
– self-esteem, confidence and emotional resilience
– social and team working skills
– a positive attitude towards learning and working
– fit and healthy lifestyle choices.
